I have to say having read the reviews how disappointed with the tour before I start I think much of it has to do with the boat skipper with no... read more real introduction to the tour, timings, what to expect etc. The first stop involved snorkelling/ diving into three caves. This was an advanced experience and only appropriate for those who are very fit and adept. The captain just showed us the box of snorkels and masks and said follow me! I did it but my wife and her friends declined as there was no encouragement to do so, ‘ just stay in the boat’. It was hard and a bit unnerving, I am fit but to squeeze through enclosed caverns wit. Sea water rising an falling and having to dive under to get to the cavern was tough. The had to climb on sharp rocks, jump into the sea from height and swim 150m was again for the average swimmer not easy.
Next stop the beach we’re we had to walk in waist height and said meet at 5.30 (about 2 hours so no work for the captain) said we had free su beds but had to argue the point with beach staff.
When we reboarded the captain had absconded and had to wait, the boat had also grounded so he had to get help pushing it out when he resurfaced. We had to ask if he had a sandwich (included) so he found them and passed them out with no enthusiasm. Next stop blue caves again only reachable to good swimmers, the boat cannot get near the cave. No info, encouragement at all. Most stayed on the boat.
Next stop another cave the boat went into. Then came out if. What it was No-one knows.
In summary, you had to be a very good swimmer/ diver to appreciate the trip and very forgiving to give any credit to the boat captain who was I. Short, grumpy, hated his job and was merely going through the motions. Sorry to be. Festive but just relaying our experience. I think if you had another captain it might be better.
On a positive note we met a lovely couple from Ireland, Pat and Mary and the Dubrovnik area and landscape is amazing as is the destination itself.

However the trip itself was amazing and a great... read more way to see parts of this beautiful country. Our skipper Frano was not only very accommodating but was good company throughout the trip. My wife and I with 3 teenage girls had a brilliant day out, visiting the islands and swimming in the blue cave. Frano even joined in with one of the girls to jump from 6m high rock above a cave entrance on one of the islands. This was the full day trip for 8 hours which involved stopping at a beautiful fish restaurant for lunch before getting back on board for more sight seeing, snorkelling, sun bathing and even a few beers. We will back next year and plan to take another trip with these guys.
